Place holder for next years South West Scotland trip.

get it in your Diary now :D

Location Kirkcudbright in SW Scotland http://goo.gl/maps/fPKDJ
Camping and and B&Bs available

ride up the scenic routes on friday, then pub

Great motorcycling local roads with no traffic and great views like these ones for Saturday http://goo.gl/maps/Ul8g7......perhaps a BBQ in the evening

More twisty roads to go home sunday.

I expect the usual suspects who did the 1st one

Put me down. I'll take the Thursday and Monday off and stop in Derby on the way up. :)

There are some great roads in that area and not too far from where I live. But, realistically, what is the pace like on these runs out? I just got back on a bike last April after a long break so wont be as fast as the more experienced riders..

There was only 4 of us last time, and we were fairly different pace, and Neil was 2 up, but it worked out fine. Everybody rides their own pace, we always have a marker system and there will always be someone waiting at any junctions, so there should be nothing to worry about. The key is knowing what pace you are happy with and not getting dragged out of your comport zone [and once you get older, that becomes easier :D ].

you can always keep me company at the back as the others ride off.
The pace is set by you and there's never any pressure by others to go any faster than your happy with.
As the day rolls on you'll find me further and further back as the caffeine wears off. :?
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time
