Which Colours
Hi guys
While my bike is stripped awaiting exhaust I am looking to get it painted and the wheels powdercoated. A mate of mine works for a bodyshop and has quoted me £20 a panel.
Just wondered if anyone had some good ideas or pictures of nice colour schemes
My ones so far are:
Audi Glacier White with Dat Glow orange wheels with a white rim
Yellow with orange wheels
Any susggestions?

Re: Which Colours
My totally unbiased advice would be to go for Candy Tahitian blue with bronze wheels, hmmmmm luverly. Finish with a liberal sprinkling of carbon fibre and titanium.
They do look nice in white though.

Pfft, ignore the ramblings of nostalgia, cast asunder the dust of convention and wear the cloak of radicalism. Carl had a Maclaren inspired idea which I love

Personally not sure about chrome...
I'm going for a winter re-spray, so got lots of ideas... But if I shared them, you might nick them!!!

Re: Which Colours
I won't copy promise
I use to have a streetfighter R6 that was black one side and white the other so split down the middle. What do you think of this half orange half yellow and have the wheels done the same except orange on the yellow side??? Or even different colours if anyone can think of a good match?

Re: Which Colours
not keen on that half and half thing myself different mind. If you were to have two colours avoid black and blue - you would end up riding around in a circle as the black half would be permanently trying to overtake the blue due its inherent higher speed
Re: Which Colours
If I'd kept the yellow fairing set for Drooper the only thing I'd be spraying it with is fly spray...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Re: Which Colours
What you think
Ford Focus ST Orange
Powder Coated Black Frame, Swingarm, Subframe, Yokes and fork stanchions
Orange Wheels
Black Hugger and mudgaurd
I had my old bandit 1200 sprayed focus st orange loved it had twin pipes but the clutch blew up on it.

At least if you go black on the kerbside you'll have no problem getting your knee down on roundabouts.. Just might have a problem getting off the roundabout
