2005 isle of man TT?????

Post by theweeeman »

Now then, i know it's early days, but i have already booked my trip to the island for 2005.

depart= 4th june 06.45........arrive @ Douglas 09.15.

return= 8th june 10.00am....arrive @ liverpool 12.15.

Last time i missed the Ramsey sprint, wich is why im going out on sat to wed this year. :wink:

It was my first trip last time, and i enjoyed every bit of it. I cant wait to go this year. My R6 was sound but crap when two up, Hopefully it will be better this time on the VTR. ( may even be on me own this time :wink: ).
let me know if any of you lot are due to be there at that time maybe we can hook up.........

I'm also booked up, can't find the ferry reciept but i think i'm going from the 1st till the 11th, will look out for you, might even be able to arrange a meet up, we have enough time to plan something.

i'll get back to you with the times once i find them. :oops:

All being well , I'll be there , again.................................

It's a good idea to book early , as I ended up on the " Red-Eye " overnighter this year.

Heysham or Liverpool ? for you guys

Weeman , have you organised accomodation ? I know a GOOD campsite ( ie level , well drained , showers , food , bar , hardstanding for your bike etc ) :D

If you need the details , let me know

That's the one !

Haven't done anything about booking it yet , got a few things to sort out first.

When I first went over (2003) my mate's mate ( :? !!) flew over from Aus , & it's possible he's coming again , with a couple of other guys , as he really loved it

Did anyone from here go to the Manx GP ? What's it like ?

Didn't get to the Manx this year, but my neighbour did.

when i went last year the roads were quieter, everything is at a more sedate pace, not as many nutters out to kill themselves and everyone else,the weather is generaly better as well.

i prefered it to the TT to be honest.
