Did mine today following Carl's excellent guide. Couple of slightly nervy moments but all seems well, and have had her fired up without issue.

Thanks a lot for the guide :D :D

Cheers Lloydie, was a little nervous about doing it but it was the only way I could put my mind at rest.

To be fair, the tricky bit is all the stripping before you get to the CCTs, actually fitting the manuals was OK.

It's always a pig the first time you do it .
I always hate undoing the cam cap bolts as there is always one tight one and it always feels like it's going to snap the head of the bolt .

Now just remember to check the slack every winter :-)

You can do it. Slow and easy, take loads of piccies, they really help!

brilliant guide i have to say cheers carlos.. not a job i ever want to do again :eek2 but sorted..front was a bit of a bitch to get the manual one tightened up right but otherwise. a lucky escape because the one came out of the front pot the spring looked like it was about to let go because it was kinda twisted and almost frayed at the end :eek2 :eek2 :eek2 :eek2 :eek2

its turning over fine but.. iv yet to press the button :D :D :D :D
beer time.
