Exhaust bracket for Firestorm

Post by markycee »

Just thought I'd share this one. A seller on ebay doing some great tailpipe brackets for the firestorm. They bring the cans Up and In by approx 50mm and the rest of the system seemed to stretch into place without needing to modify anything else. I thing it looks loads better than the standard fit . It means losing rear foot-pegs, but that suits me!

I have updated my profile picture so it may give you some idea. Great little mod!!!

Have you a bigger pic of them fitted as 5 cm in will bring can very close to the swinger...unless the seller is Uri Gellar...
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I ran a set of these and they work well (though IIRC the position is the same as stock> The are significantly lighter (like 710g lighter) than the stock bits. The only downside (albeit minor) is that they are less rigid, and perhaps some slight movement of the cans. I had mine powdercoated black (like the look better)....

The ones I was using did lift the cans up higher and looked better for it, but as lloydie said...flimsy !!. The pipes do waggle about when you get a wriggle on

And as I take a pillion, they had to come back off :(
