Re: Bike Porn
I really like that, how much would one go for?
Re: Bike Porn
They were asking £10,700 and no offers they have 3 peeps waiting on one coming in secondhand, it had 7k on the clock and is 2 years old, their are very few about and this bike was immaculate, the dash very similar to the SP1 & 2 with full track system.
Re: Bike Porn
Not to my taste. Not at that price when there are many other options out there for less. I don't really like the looks of that BM either. Something about the lines of the fairing and tank shape.

It's not masonry paint and I wont be doing any papering unless it's carbon.

Re: Bike Porn
they are great bikes, but i binned mine though, head touched down on a left hander, lifted the rear wheel and spat me off, got £8700 back for it and lost £3k never again they look awsome and grab attention from everywhere you go.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I know it's not a popular vote, but I will stick with Carl, not my taste either, something about the lines... great German engineering I have to admit, but the design need to learn from the Italians, plus that boxer engine I never liked much.cybercarl wrote:Not to my taste. Re: Bike Porn
hi yes they are basically, about 122bhp at the back wheel, but with ohlins shock and a telelever front end they do handle very well and are suprisingly quick, the handling is only limited by the head clearance and they do have a titanium cover on the cyl head. batterys are an absolute ssod to get too and to replace the dry cluch you need to strip the whole ass end off. they do look and feel different and take some getting used to, they also out this engine in an enduro bike too with nobblys etc, it was a right handful on the dirt.callam_nffc wrote:I saw one of these on the ferry to the isle of man, don't get me wrong I like it but id much rather have a 1098s or similar for the money

Re: Bike Porn
The new semi watercooled engine has the clutch at the front, and so hopefully maintenance will be much easier.
Clutch maintenance, anyway.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
