Last week I did do.
Decorating the kitchen. Recently we moved from our terrible shithole of a flat in a terrible block into a nice flat in a much nicer area so Mrs pinky and I saved our pennies and this is the before and after.
And yes. I done the work myself. I even have the blisters to prove it!

After:
Cost us a few hundred smackers but we'd saved as much as we could for it and done the work ourselves. I'd never layed a floor before so I think I done a rather good job.
See.
New appliances all round as the old ones were knackered and needed changed.

Floor looks good for a first atempt, I have seen many floors laid by so called tilers that don't look as good - well done

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: Last week I did do.
I'm surprised the Pink bit didn't stay. Fantastic job Pnky you should feel very proud of yourself. Just sort out that bit of cutting in along the wall/ceiling I guess you used to small a brush there. A nice 3 or 4inch Purdy should do the job. Wider brushes behave like a straight edge and make it easier to get a straight line when cutting innot sure about the slow orange walls tho.
Good luck with the new home, does it come with a garage

^ part of the problem is I cant see a straight line for sh1t lol. The orange is a "Slap in the face bright" orange but it works really well with the dark floor and counters. Did have the odd nightmare, one door had to come off and needs a bit taken off the bottom but it took half a day to get the bloody door off. There was that much gloss paint over the screws I ended up twatting it with the impact driver. The floor itself and grouting was great fun to do. Using the tile nippers not so much fun, I have blisters on my blisters.
