Op Storm III: Yorkshire Dales 24-26 May 2013

Post by Flatline »

Time is running out: 2 days to go

Me and Tasum will be going camping on 24 - 26 May and you are all invited to join us

This is now the main thread and will be updated with all the latest info

The campsite:

Squires Cafe
Newthorpe Lane
South Milford
Leeds
LS25 5LX
01977 684618

The Manager is Jason

http://www.squires-cafe.co.uk/
Mail to: info@squires-cafe.co.uk

Petrol Stations near Squires:

South Milford, LS25 5AT

Ferrybridge Motorway Services

Knottingley WF11 0AF

Having been on a few rideouts I am aware that there is a lot of worry about keeping up, as well as going faster than your abilities

And the riders at the back are always under pressure to catch up (even though they are told to rider their own pace)

One of the reasons for this is the huge difference in riding abilities

So I believe the best way to take a lot of the pressure off is to have 2 groups on the ride out

One group will be led by Miztaziggy and Adyf

The other group with me and another

This is to allow those who wish to gallop off into the distance...........................................to gallop off into the distance :Bike:

Those with me can have more of a canter rather than a gallop :deadhorse1:

It also means there will be less hanging around waiting for riders to catch up

Anyone unsure of there abilities can now come along knowing thhe pressure if off

Update Jan 2013

The weekend is Squires Spring Show, featuring Live Music, Fun Fair, Bike Dealers and Stalls............and a load of noisy twins!! http://www.squires-cafe.co.uk/whats_on_ ... /index.asp

For those camping, we have a few places in tents that will be provide

You will still need your own bed and sleeping bag etc

Seb...............Requires tent space

Tony..............Requires tent space

Rob................Requires tent space

Ckennedy +2.....Require tent space

If anyone local is able to provide tents as well that would be good, and make it much easier for the guys staying over

Here is a link to local B&b for those not camping

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
