Stahlbus Oil Drain Valve

Mess free oil change, change oil with the bike on its side stand and pointing slightly uphill so the oil in the oil filter drains back into the engine so when you take it off it doesn't drip over the floor

well worth the money, takes a while for the oil to drain but it does drain and doesn't make a mess on the driveway and you don't need loads of newspaper down on the floor either.

Well it was one of these until I attacked it with a stanley knife, leaving a 3-4 '' pan, plenty of room to go under the sump. No mess, no spils, no oily newspaper.

Well worth the money...oh yeah it was free. :thumbup:

It's a bit Gucci but I like it for three reasons;

• Seal Change Is Not Necessary
• Sump Thread Is Spared
• Change Oil Without Tools

Not so keen on the price though :thumbdown:

where is the fun in the oil changes, you still will get messy as you need to change the oil filter, so a bowl will still be needed to catch the oil form the filter.

Good point that man, one that the sales pitch for the fandagulous drain valve seems to have omitted.

Money well spent hmmmm don't think so.

Change the oil on an incline, most oil in the filter drains back into the engine, catch the little that comes out with some kitchen roll
