Notoriously unreliable grips - fitted them for a friend and he had to return them 3 times to get a properly working set.

I fitted some for my euro trip and they were wombles before we got on the bloody boat. Load of shite.

Need to get a new throttle tube when I replace 'em. They glue I used it like cement

Mine came with a dodgy control unit.

Got it replaced and they have been working fine for the last 4 or 5 years.

I always use superglue.

It's not brilliant so if you twist it hard enough it will break the adhesion and come off.

Give Oxford a ring or send an email asking what they would like you to do

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I use the Symtec heating elements stuck Direct to the bars and then you fit any grips you want on top of them.

If you route the exhausts through the bars via a flexible link pipe it'll keep your hands nice and toasty.

Although if you rev it hard it'll shoot the bar ends out like a howitzer.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

It's good they are sending you a replacement. They must realise there is a problem with them then. Is there anything you can do as a preventative measure to stop it happening in the future.
