wow, that is scary!! he is real lucky to have survived 3 days injured and cold!

That's why I have a iPhone as the other half can track me If u don't call within a arranged time .

If your missus is anything like mine you would be wasting your time,I could tell her my route....show her with a map....draw her a picture of where i'm going, and it still wouldn't make any difference, far easier to spend 3 nights in a ditch !

good point mine is the same. need to define the route by telling her that i was passing a shoe shop or garden ctr, then she might remember

Emergency services surly could pick up a phone signal as well. Triangulation should get it roughly pinpointed.
