Murvs new purchase....

Post by MacV2 »

Been having a PM chat with Murv, was trying to entice him out on the Run to the Bun's, tomorow.

Alas he can't make it as he is out & about with the family in his new purchase.......

note this may not actually be Murv's boat but he said it was green....

I hope he has fun, but I have this image in my mind that I can't shake out....

What do you think?????

The only thing it's missing is a V-Twin outboard on the back :)

Apparently it has a 1968 vintage outboard on it, which is silver in colour & he seems to think that will make it fast.....

Still if it breaks down he can always get out & push.....

That is pretty much exactly what it looks like! mine's a bit tattier though.

Just need to get the caravan battery out of the van to power the little electric back-up motor and then get some 2-stroke oil for the petrol one and we'll be off
Oh, and a parrot :biggrin

A big V-twin outboard would be the baldrocks wouldn't it! 100bhp on the back of a little dingy would be entertaining though
I've been on a small charter boat that had 500bhp motors on it, that thing could roll you out of your seat when the skipper opened it up, it was a bloody fearsome thing

Enjoy the bun run

EDIT: I think this is about the only post I've made without derogatory comments about any non-Silver bikes. Must be getting old, just can't think of anything.

If you look carefully in the background you can see a happy, jolly pest controller about to bust a cap in da ass of the rat & mole! Funny they never used that theme in Tales of the river bank. "and then children all the cuddly, lovely little animals that you have become so attached to through this story, were all slaughtered by the pest controller!". That would give em nightmares.

I wanna know why there appears to be a seal/sea-lion in foreground, surly it was 'tales from the riverbank' & not 'tales from the coastline'...... :confused

Still never mind, it's all fair game to me...Shoot the Rat, gas the Mole & club the Seal.....

Could it be a fresh water Otter (or a kettle as it's commonly known! Sorry).
