Looking good Stephan. Did you do the artwork in the background? You only need to save up for a respray in a decent colour to finish the bike off!!!!

Lovely looking bike, and nice pictures too.

Very nice bike. Why the CBR sidestand? :confused

Interesting backdrop you have chosen for the pics. I have to disagree with Murv and say The pictures are not the best but are OK. You are supposed to be showing off the bike not the background

The CBR stand is slightly longer so makes the bike stand more upright. Particularly useful if the ride height has been altered making the bike lean over further.

As Kev wrote, bike is more upright now after rear raised by 5 mm. I agree pictures are not the best, it´s taken by mobile and I am not good photographer neither :-)

This is how it was with original stand

I was only teasing about the pics mate. That is some serious lean. I have noticed these bikes tend to lean a lot especially on a slightly inclined surface. I'm always careful putting the bike on the sidestand and sometimes it's a bit, Oooo Argh Woe, then reposition. 9 times out of 10 it's safe but just looks dodgy and doesn't feel comfortable leaning it over that far.

Any particular year for the 1000RR sidestand or do they all fit?

Will look at doing this mod as my butt is 6mm higher and the bike leans waaaay over! 8O

Jester666: CBR1000RR 04-07. You need to change only the side stick. Sensor and bracket held in place.
