Norton V4 195 bhp

Post by Image »

Norton have brought out a new bike the V4. 195 bhp and no fancy electronics like ems to keep it simple and reliable. Phew that's a serious bit of kit. It'll be available from bike shops AFTER the Isle of Man TT where it's being raced. Oh if only I had the dosh!

Not quite a Norton but with a bit of imagination and a hacksaw...

The new Norton v4 is an Aprilia RSV lump. Good luck to em.

it's an aprilia V4 motor in a spondon frame, ohlins, brembo etc.
the only norton bit is the sticker on the tank.

It probably DOES make 195bhp, on a test bench. transmission losses bring it down to 180 probably. it'll be competitive though you watch.
Norton PLC own Spondon now anyway so it is a Norton.
lets see if they do a pseudo JPS paint scheme.

McKenzie?
That bugger would get the test bench to go round corners......
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
