New since last year:
- carbon fibre hugger
- stickers removed
- Braketech Axis Cobra rotors (stock size) with Vesrah SRJL pads
- high-mount position for Akrapovic cans
- HRC ignition
- modded airbox (4.5mm shim under filter, hole cut into plasctic shround underneath to allow air entry)
- re-timed cams (more overlap)
- new DLC-coated tappets
- Krankvent sump vent (applie partial vacuum to sump for reduced pumping loss)
- Thurn Motorsports billet brake pedal
- Proton flush-mount turn signals
- carbon frame covers
- Ohlins steering damper
- black stickers on fork lowers
- removed "third eye" and replace it with mesh

and surely a few other things I am forgetting.....

I will be getting it on the dyno shortly but the changes made to powertrain since last year have really awakened the engine.... I am very, very happy with the bike :)

That's one very cool looking VTR Mik. I like those exhaust hangers, I could do with them myself. Where they purchased as is, or did you make or have them made.

Have Fun

Thanks Wicky,; my pics weren`t the greatest.

As for the hangers, they are from Jardine. They come in polished finish (aluminum, nice and light). I painted them black (chrome or pseudo-chrome has no business on a sportbike IMO) but I can tell the finish will not stay on foerever so I will be getting them powdercoated next winter.

If you`re looking for hangers, I have a set of ultra-light and rigid carbon units that I will likely get getting rid of. PM me if you are interested.....

Methinks that`ll be on another VTR. I won`t lie and tell you that I am not curious to see how it would look, sound, especially perform, but it runs great (amazing, actually) now with the Akra. More importantly, the Arrow is still brand new and keeping it that way would/will make the (eventual?) sale easier and net me more money. Not sure it would be worth the few hundred dollars in loss of resale value to install it and run it for a few minutes (then it`s no longer technically new, but rather falls into the "slightly used"/"just run once"/"virtually new" category..... ).
