TPS HEADACHE

Post by fireballxl5 »

Got involved with my TPS while doing other work this morning never a good idea, on checking the ohms reading found it was slightly high at 540 tried to adjust the switch and found the reading did not alter, checked switch in different throttle positions still the same, buggered switch not happy forced myself to phone my local honda dealer expecting bad news, sh1t !!!! :x £145.77 + the vodka and tonic, want to buy the switch not shares in honda mate thanks & bye. Phoned dave silver for possible more bad news and surprise surprise god does exist £45 + vat + postage :D never got as far as fleabay, so give DS a go, message on their site as of 1st Jan 2012 will only be selling parts for honda's sold before 2003. sh1t happens just like the weather.

Not sure I understand what your saying. Both storm models were sold before 2003 and after there's no difference either. :confused
so the silvers one would be fine. :)
