Newbie From OZ Says Hello

Post by kenmoore »

Picking up an 05 Firestorm with 9500Klms today, has standard pipes and was wondering what options I have for pipes.

Would prefer high mount, but can't bring myself to spend the $1400 that Staintune want for them here in Oz.

welcome to the forum fella
for that sort of money you could buy a pair from the uk and have them shipped over and still have change in ya pocket.
ffs i just did the conversion that £950 you could buy some akras or yoshis or pretty much anything for that sort of money.
email a few companies and ask them how much to ship to oz.
remember tho to get the most out of the exhausts you will need to put a better air filter and rejet the carbs. having said that some exhausts are designed to work with the standard setup....

Welcome to the forum buddy

Surely ebay is the place to keep an eye on, my Remus high levels cost £100

With regards to the filter, you may want to keep an eye open for this thread http://www.haymouth.co.uk/phpBB3/viewto ... =7&t=22519

That's if you can wait

They're actually Moriwaki pipes, that are far superior to Yoshimura.
Someone got a bloody bargain there.
Just seen other post, well done Wicky!!
