Back in Blighty

Post by steveb »

Oldest bike on the tour by 6 years (R '98) - never missed a beat! 6 fabulous days riding around Europe. Stayed in Luxembourg and visited Belgium, Germany and France = 1927miles.

Did the Nurburgring - had a 'moment' where I went 'green laning' thank God for the run off and not Armco like most of the bends on that race track!! Was a bit worried about becoming a bonnet mascot on a Porsche GT3 too!!!

Saw three other storms in Lux as per other post but clearly not anyone who logs on here!
Happy ridin'

Did your mates point out that you were always first to stop for fuel?
Mine never fail to mention it....about once every hundred klicks...

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

It was the standing joke of the entire trip but nearly all the roads we used (once getting there on the motorway) were twisty A and B style roads so all of them were gagging for the break anyway!

Comments such as; 'that coffee mug your drinking out of is bigger than your fuel tank!!'

Funny though, my fuel effciency got better each day??????? Putting in Super 98ron as I do in the uk. Does riding it for long rides every day improve things?
