Hello all

Post by fivetentrev »

Hi all, had a vtr for about two years now so I thought I'd pull my finger out and join the club. Love the bike but it's time to do a few mods and I think I need some advice. Drinks are on me.

Hi, mate.
These bikes are a good blank canvas for modding, what do you have in mind?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

they most certainly will be if you turn a perfectly good storm into a cruiser or chop.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

gonna turn it into a quad....

Nah, just the usual, fork upgrades and better rear shock poss some tidy pipes as i live next to racefit and love their stuff. I like the bike as it looks now so maybe just tidy up the butt end and shave off a bit of plastic here and there. There isnt a scratch on it so fightering it wouldnt be right

Sounds good mate. I am going to stick a 954 front end on mine and have a 900RR 98 brace welded onto a spare vtr swingarm. Just got to decide the colour for the new wheels. Rear should be done soon(ish) front will wait until winter. Have fun with the VTR it really is a stunning bike. Just check Fast Bikes this month to confirm this.
