Best Aftermarket rear shock ?

OK, time to dig out the credit card and upgrade the storm rear shock. After 34,000 miles it seems to have the damping ability of congealed snot. So, which one is best...Ohlins, penske or WP ? Or are there any others that someone can recommend ?
As soon as I read about the dangers of drinking too much, I immediately gave up reading.
