I did a search for Dave as his was due like now...So I bought him his VTR pressy last March  , up until then he was on my ins, got him insured from scratch £220 FC etc. This year they sent him a renewal for £250?? 8O I know the Ins co were putting up premiums beg of March. Searched the net and got him on with Equity Redstar who I've been wit hin the past £160 FC, result. Now to my ins, its due in May and I've been searching. My current premium is £115 Fc with BD etc..I have found a quote somewhere (don't ask me for it now as have to dig it out) but got it down to around £98 FC with legals  I am with Motorcycle direct and their quotes always come back to be within the top 3 best prices.. Have RAC on car so bike covered by that. :-) We both have a clean license as of this week, first time in years for me!Yayyyy.....Makes up for being ripped off for our cars with Tax n Ins..

Quoted me £75 full comp and then sent me third party FT and refused to change it without full cancelation fee and re-insure with another ins co.

I had a bit of a row over excess, I refuse to pay £500 excess on a bike that really is only worth £1700 on a nice sunny day with its best polish on!!

Each one i phoned I said I didn't want more than £250xs - it worked - my £102 3rd P f&t is a good price for me!!!

Bennett's,99 vtr,1y nc,...£180 fully comp...still seem to be the cheapest.
As the prices change daily, often with a substantial difference, sometimes wonder if they pull numbers from a lottery wheel!!........
