I'm very partial to EBC HH pads, and have them in my VTR, VFR and ST1100. As a frequent bike switcher I try and set the bikes up reasonably similarly to avoid too many "oh sh1t" moments....

Even with the lardy weight of the ST and sliding 2-piston calipers, the old girl hauls up good. Obsessive maintenance, a smaller VFR master and braided lines have all been sound investments.

Thanks to both you and Popkat for the feedback on the pads.

Got the Domino qa twistgrip and cables ordered.
Just bling, really, as I'm happy enough with the std one, but nice to look at.
Just in time for icy winter roads.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Due to a few problems with my back and arm I didn't get to ride my SP2 at all this year, so I was contemplating selling her, then I got her out today to take the battery off and prep her up for winter.
Before I did I started her up and let her run for an hour, it then dawned on me, just standing there looking, and listening to her was enough to remind me how special this bike is, and what the hell was I thinking of, I'd be mad to even think of it.

Fab,
That's like asking your mate to take his sister out...... new depth :Ball Kick:

Kev, no you can't get rid of her, part of your soul.
Thought you were going to let the Blade go if you were needing space? I have space in my garage, I'll look after her for you.........
