Bin Norton and get AVG free version, spybot and adaware, these three bits of software are all free and don't use anywhere near the resources on a pc that Norton does, i've had computers with Norton and MacAfee grind to a halt with them on

I've used Norton for years and never had a virus or intrusion. Neither has my PC ever ground to a halt. Use free stuff, then wait for the inevitable.

Must depend on how old you PC is, My kids laptops are new enough and fast enough that Norton made no problem, but the old desktop that I use at home was crippled by Norton, so it has AVG and all is good.

Both the Laptops went to AVG when Norton expired, and no virus problems [touch wood!]

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

but hey that is what the internet is for........... :boobs: :erection:

Reminds me slightly of a dark [but funny] commet on one of the TV shows where they were debating how the internet has made things easier for us all.........." look how much easier it is to groom childeren........before the internet you had to go to all the effort of joining the clergy"
