Hi

Post by Wheely2251 »

Hi to all,

I'm new to the forum. I'm currently riding a 97 firestorm everyday for work. This is my second VTR.

I've been riding since I was 17, currently living just outside Newquay in Cornwall.

Just fitted a 5mm spacer (kindly machined by a mate of mine) to the rear shock which has improved the handling hugely. He ran off about 6 more while he was doing mine in 3mm 5mm and 6mm available for a small fee if any one is interested? Give Phil a call on 07805 071937  He is a superb machinist if you need any parts making. He's just made a piston for an old british bike that you can't get bits for, and some brake calliper pistons for a vintage Jap bike.

Any way the site is full of usefull info and I love the Joke section. Take it easy

Welcome, sounds like you like the Storm if you had 2 already, and the spacer is a good mod.

have a good read round, look at the CCT subjects and ask any questions you have, we are full of dumb answers but some will help!
