Almost finished!

Post by davros »

My storm is almost rebuilt, just got some small tidying jobs to do change the oil and filter and see if it goes. Quite pleased with the way it turned out, but fancy some high level cans at some point. :D

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Should cause a few second glances, the bike actually looks better in the flesh, the photos make it look a bit dull, would like to finish it off with some nice cans, I've got some sp2 cans that I could may be modify to high level if I can get some one to make the link pipes, but may be easyer just to get after market cans.

It looks well....I also toyed with the idea of doing a green one. Only got as far as photoshop though!

Just got the storm fired up today, had some problems with the carbs, but cleaned them out and she fired up no problem, bit of a blow on the exhaust otherwise good to go, MOT and Tax and we're off. Can't wait :) :)

I'll have to sell all the left over bits from the re-build and start an exhaust fund, can't make up my mind which I prefer High-level or Stubby. :confused

Quick update had the storm out a few times now, after a few teething problems now running good, the forks have made a big difference to the handling, front end just feels tighter and turns in quicker, still playing with the settings but looking good so far, quick thanks to everyone for the advice on the fork upgrade would have taken a lot longer otherwise. I'll probably book a track day in September hopfully it will be dialed in by then.
