Turbo VTR
Re: Turbo VTR
Don`t mean to split hairs but that is a supercharger, not a turbo. Either way, a pretty impressive undertaking....

Some more pics and burnout vid (note very rear (& up) rearsets, plus stock CCTs
I'd like to see it on a dyno then see if the minimlist frame (and presumably stock crank) can handle holding it all together on a blat round some twisties - Otherwise it could be like watching Katie Price in an egg & spoon race with a rocket up her ar$e.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: Turbo VTR
Saw that in the flesh at the nec last year. Lots of work gone into it if i remember correctly it did say it had stock internals which made me think it wont last long lol. Dont get me wrong i love my streetfighters but when i saw this i thought that is just a little to much i do prefer them that actually can be used as intended
Re: Turbo VTR
Wouldn't mind a closer inspection of the pipes and plumbing.....benny hedges wrote:if it gets you a bird like that i'm building one lol.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Turbo VTR
Appreciate the time and effort that's gone into that...loads of work and skill
But, it does now't for me
I think street fighters and specials are a very personal thing tbh.

Bless, she'll catch her death.
Normally really don't like 'fighters, especially Storm based ones, but this one looks 'right'. Reckon it would look a lot righter without all the plumbing & blower nonsense though. Oh, and a skinnier back tyre, but it's easy to be an armchair critic - good work fella.

Re: Turbo VTR
Right then
1. How many times do u rekon he has burnt his leg.
2. How many miles out of an already thirsty bike
and as to why it has turbo and supercharger.
most peeps do this so there on boost immediatly, the supercharger kicks in first to alow time for the turbo to spool. then all hell breaks loose.
alos shoudnt he have an air filter on that or summit. right now u can see straight to the compressor. one stone placed incorrectly and bam i woudnt wanna be sat on it. not to mention if u slipped and missplaced finger.
