semi-synthetic is what you need 10/40. dont use fully synth as it is not recommended by those who know more about this subject than I do.

I only use semi for running in then I always switch to Mobil 1 Racing 4T fully synthetic and use 2 x 2 litres to flush the bike during the switch. It's designed for motorcycle engines, no clutch slip, better gear change and engine sounds alot sweeter. The only down side it it'll use a tiny bit more oil, but not noticable unless your doing 30k a year.

bunnybouy - DO NOT PUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BIKE OIL IN!!!

You've got a gearbox as well as an engine to lubricate.
