New Bike With Pics

Post by motorola222 »

Hello Folks i finally found a VTR Forum. Well one thats populated anyway.

Well guys i sold my hornet in sept last year it was my first bike and i loved it. as soon as it drove up the road the pit feeling was there already.

how ever on a trip to midland superbikes on sunday. i found the bike that would be my next one. a 2002 VTR Firestorm. i didnt even know the name of this bike and i actually went to see a 954 fireblade. the VTR was tucked away in a corner and it immediatly caught my eye.

id never concidered a firestorm untill now. well i put the deposit down and im picking her up tomorrow.!!!!

and here she is (hope this works)

Welcome! IL4 to V2, no comparison... you'll love it, after you become best friends with the rev limiter that is! Just check the speedo once in a while....
No bike (yet).

Your wet yourself when you put after market cans on her. I have Vipers on mine, and I have not heard a louder Storm I have come across.
I prefer the sound of it over a Ducati IMO.

Had an early Hornet for three years myself, then went to the Storm (via a couple of others).

Samish top end bhp, but the Storm definitely feels quicker accelerating, although a bit lazier in the bends.

And sounds a million times better!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
