whats the difference, Alloy or Stainless

Post by RAINMAKER »

want to buy end cans but not really sure what the difference is between alloy and stainless......sound, quality, how long they last etc thinking of ART cos I think they sound good, deep bass note and quite cheap..
what do you guys think?

I'd go for stainless, looks the shiznit when they're polished up.

But I'd go for Blueflame instead of Art, they sound a bit meatier :)

When you see the price of the ART's from Daz, I don't think that you'll be too interested in anything else. Definatley go for stainless.

Do art do a road legal version? I know purists don't care, but i'd rather not worry about it. If they do, how do they sound? if its better than stock...

Blue Flame Evo stainless (road legal), around £400 pair. With twin outlets you get to play with the sound (X4). Bung all the plugs in for early starts n' long distance, take em all out for rideouts and posing. I've got two out and it sounds fruity but doesn't upset anyone (much). Might take the other two out for Thursday nights at the Vic, when Spring finally arrives!

In fact, speaking of the Vic wouldnt it be nice to get a load of Storms together in the next few months: http://www.vicbikerpub.co.uk

We generally don't have to worry about the whole "road use/not for road use" thing over here, hence I've got the stainless blueflame race cans on. Mmmmm, rumbly
