Well the lad just had a rite of passage as a biker
“If you remember he started riding I May”

He’s just had his first off

There was a sudden down pour on his way back from a short run
When he was braking for a junction he lost the font end on some diesel in the wet and went down
Got a call from him on the mobile
Telling me about it
I asked if he was all right and if the bike was ride able
Said he was ok and the bike seemed rid able but he was of to the hospital in an ambulance
Asked were he was and shot off in the car

Out come one p*ssed off son with a sprained wrist small hole in he’s knee, a bent gear lever, some scratches on the front guard and a badly bruised ego

Picked him up from the hospital 3 hours later took him straight to were the bike had been left after the accident and he rode it home and he’s still ok with riding a bike so hopefully lesson learned

That's the leathers and armour lesson learnt, then.

Glad he's ok.

He'll have forgotten it by Monday, assuming you fix his bike for him!
