hello all, Im a fairly recent convert to the v-twin club having bought my storm just over a year ago, never wanted a twin and had no intention of buying one but for various reasons I needed some cash and so had to sell my 05 CBR600 RR went to have a look at a daytona 955i which turned ou to be rot and so (reluctantly) tried the storm as it was all the dealer had in the same price range, well what a revelation, the grunt, the noise, Ive never felt so immediately at home on a bike and have never looked back . I got my 01 storm for £2700 its mint with 4500 miles on the clock, what a bargain. Ive scince fitted FUEL cans, K&N air and oil filters and had it dynojetted (needed it to run propperly with the baffles out of the cans).look forward to hearing from any other stormers, particularly in the south east (hastings) area and maybe meet up for some rideouts :wink2

thanks for the comments. Actually not SS, I'm just a little bit anal about cleaning, including the down pipes. A little bit of time with the old autosol brings them up quite nicely the rest gets cleaned and polished after every ride (time and wife allowing :wink2 ) Auto glym super resin polish followed by auto glym extra shine protection-brings it up like new

SNAP!
whats going on with your front brakes, is it some kind of radial mount mod? I'm also keen to change the indicators (i'm sure the standard ones can be seen from space they're soooo big ) did the MOT testers have any issues with the ones you had?
