I'm thinking about 'fightering the old girl, but I would have to ditch the side rads for a front one.

Hi Col,

Welcome aboard.

I don't do Sfighters but the top one I could live with.

Thanks guys. Well you either like streetfighters or you don't. Thinking of stripping the bottom firestorm and putting my own stamp on it. It used to be owned by another guy on this forum. Robin. A lot of engine work has been done on it. The top bike started life as a standard yellow firestorm before I got it.

Welcome aboard Col73 :!: :D .

The first pic of your Streetfighter with the black frame must be one of the very few Firestorms that I actually like the look of with the rads still mounted on the sides. Normally I prefer a front mounted rad as Paul (Stratman) said, but in this case for me I think you've got away with it very well :!: 8)

I remember seeing your second Streetfighter (2nd pic) for sale and thinking at the time a lot of goodies and money had been put into that bike :!:

Can you notice the extra power :?:

Cheers,

Chris.

Yeah you can notice the extra power. It goes really well. So it should for the money that was spent on it. My original idea was to put the engine of the race firestorm (second bike pic) into the first bike, but i think it would take away the clean lines of the bike so I'll maybe just do up the second one.
I know what your saying about the exhaust being big andy. It's a JAC system I got of ebay. With the baffles in the bike passed MOT which is a bit stricter over here. I have now the baffles out and it is a good bit louder and sounds well. I would like a stubby can. It would look a lot better but I'm worried about it being too loud.
