I got on eventually last night Lloydie...

Delete your online character.

Delete the Gta 'system update' in your memory from the Xbox dashboard "storage".

Insert Gta, download the update again, create new character, Go!

You do have to wait quite a while (15 - 20mins for me) to get past the "waiting for other players) loading screen & then the "launching session" loading screen.

After you've done tutorial, your good to go.

Interesting that neither of you could get it to work..

Worked flawlessly for me and all my friends with the game :confused :confused

Just got on .
And worked out if it don't load up instantly reboot .
Can you not ran the gates if the military base on line to get a plane ?

Woohoo Welldone :)

Yeah that's really annoying, maybe as rank increases or certain missions get done, the army base will unlock. I really hope so anyway

Me too . I'm back on lates next week so it's going to get hammered :-) as I just don't get time when I'm on early's

Anyone online with PS3? I've been having difficulties getting online too. Could do with some friends as I'm a one man crew atm :lol:

You got on as I got off then :lol:

The easiest way me and my friends found was find a parachute (there's one at the top of the cable cars) then just jump in from a helicopter. It was fun until we realised only one of us had actually got a parachute :oops:

It's going to take some getting used to it this online game as it's not as fluid as the previous ones .
