check the volts with the lights and indicators on as they(r1-r6 regs) tend to under charge and leave you stranded in tesco's car park looking like a nob trying to bump start (not easy on a big twin all on your own )
Will check that in morning  , she's showing 14.7 at 2k revs. I should have thought to check with lights on etc  . I'm barely big enough to bump start a bloody mini moto so can do without incidents like that

They sound very nice a lot better than the standard system, I am trying to find different hangers as I prefer to lose the rear foot pegs, and use the bosses for a bracket to run between the can and rear plastic. Any suggestions of who can sort these?

she's showing 14.7 at 2k revs
Hopefully with the lights on that should drop a little. You want no more than 14.5 ideally with lights on and running at fast idle. Go through the rev range and make sure it goes no higher than 14.8.

Nice work Arkwright. I like the links.

That's a good idea I will have to get the plastics off and swing the can strap up and see how it goes.

Ckennedy I did try to Pm you about that Saturday ride out but me having less than 50 posts was a big hurdle.

Yes that's with the light on as well. It should be no lower than 13 preferably 13.5 and no higher than 14.8. Check out the guide in my sig

Not to worry. Next time post on a reply in the thread. Don't get many Saturday rides now with work. Either Sunday afternoons or Mondays now.

Aitch does good work, he built my stubbies. I'd use him again - his customer service is outstanding....

Try "up hangers" - like:
