BTW Carl, I discovered ras Al hanout - sort of mixed Moroccan spice - the other day, very fragrant and great with slow cooked chick peas, garlic tomatoes, onion, peppers, ginger, apricots etc etc

I discovered ras Al hanout
Just looked this up Andy and there is no specific mix of spices. It a general name for a middle eastern Arabic spice mix mixed to a shops own blend. So I could grab a load of spices, mix them up as middle eastern flavours and label it as ras Al hanout. So if you like what you bought make sure you back to the same place to buy more as you wont find it anywhere else.

haha - it's not hot, jsut fragrant. Yes Carl, it's much to the preference of the maker, although some of the stuff is a little hard to come by like rose and lavender and other such floral adornments to the flavour

today (yesterday actually) I took the bike for an mot. rear pads near limit so got those done and it also failed on front tyre wear ?? the fella reckons it was uneven wear rather than lack of tread? no point arguing and I had new one at home so he put it on and I have another 12 months of riding

That sounds a bit iffy to me. I hope he didn't charge you for fitting the tyre. I bet he's kicking himself because you already had the tyre and did not purchase one from him

Oh well, and least your legal and back on the road for another year.

haha yeah his face did fall a bit when I said I had one but I got it all done on my one day off. it was a Dunlop that came off and a dunlop that went back on . it had done at least 7000 so I guess I had had my moneys worth.

check the volts with the lights and indicators on as they(r1-r6 regs) tend to under charge and leave you stranded in tesco's car park looking like a nob trying to bump start (not easy on a big twin all on your own )
