just ask bob, malcopop, popkat, how many bikes he looked at and how strong the prices were thru winter.

Hmmm Yes... I think the prices bottomed last winter, now they've risen to what's probably normal level, there will still be a few bargains but in general they've gone up a few hundred quid and remained strong through winter, a £1000 bike last winter would be £13-1400 now and so on. But they're still a great bike for little money.

A category C bike repaired with non standard paint sold this week for £896, says a lot really

It is a good bike (well it will be) It's just been stored in the wrong place for too long at some point in it's life and had a few numpty's working on it. by spring it'll be looking mint and hopefully going well too, it does have only 7000 miles.. With the mods and add ons I'm doing it'll be worth what it's cost for sure, maybe even more, I'm happy with that although I'm sure I kept saying I want a bike to just ride and not have to work on

Stinkwheels in Romford also have a very cheap (£95!) running engine though clutch casing is badly damaged.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I toyed with buying this when it popped up on ebay yesterday
but they did a quick start/run with no oil in it...... :eek2
still worth it at £75, for parts alone.

And it's been sitting out in the wet for however long with water going down the cylinders. Cylinders are saleable if no bent valves and then the other odds and ends. It's either a breaker or spend on strip down and rebuild.

no not the colour, but the condition, one of the worst late model bikes I've ever seen, how many seized nuts and bolts will this bike have, very sad and very unloved.....
a great example that condition is more important than age.
