It was a bit like that with 3 of them spinning the roundabout, and I was wearing shorts and flip flops so didn't fancy making a jump for it

Bad news for me, I don't think I will be able to do this anymore. We're taking some clients out to York races on the 15th, it's a free bar / champagne jobby and I'll no doubt get sh|t faced.
Assuming I do, I will be too hung over to get up and off on Sat 16th with you all

Come on Flatty, need some more info on where you are staying, so I can see if there are any B&B nearby, otherwise I will have to crash in the man tent, or bring my own.

Can't see the storm will be ready for this trip, will have to be the next.
By the end of the year it maybe a BMW like ady if the aftermarket shock doesn't improve the storms comfort.

Squires is alright with me, convenient, good showers and clean toilets, but if you find an alternative near a few decent pubs that also do food, that's good too.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Juat looked at squires, they have a harley day on saturday where you can test ride their new bikes, so might not go out on the run saturday, casue I need to keep ady company whilst he goes for a test rides. Someone has to boost his confidence whilst wearing leather chaps....

Re: A different campsite. Your thoughts!
I thought after last year, the general consensus was that we're camping a good 40 minute ride from the good roads at Squires.Flatline wrote:Although I am about to start the search for a different location instead of Squires Café

In my opinion, Squires is fine, it's easy to get to and it's good for camping, it's just such a trek up those sh1t roads up to the dales. By camping in the dales, it just means more fun right from the moment you set off. The camp site in Horton on Ribblesdale looks to have good facilities, though never stopped there myself.
Anyway, I **probably** can't make this year's Yorkshire run as i'll still be drunk on Champagne from the races :-)
