Not at the moment I'm afraid, its just not suitable to post speculation and information on a public forum so soon.

R.I.P. Benny. Never actually met you in person, but spoke to you a few times online. Sad loss, such a fantastic bloke.

I'm currently in Greece at the moment on holiday, got a phone call from Daz last night from the North West Bikers forum to inform me of this tragic news. As some of you may know Martin was also a personal friend of mine and known also by the rest of my family, he was more than just a forum friend. We rode a lot together and had some fantastic times.
Myself, Adam and Sue are devastated to lose such a good friend. I don't know what else to say, its a total shock.

RIP Martin

I had an accident on my Storm a few years ago whilst out with Benny in the Dales. Front tyre slipped on a right hand bend and I went down. Luckily wasn't too fast and with it being a right hander, didn't go across the oncoming side of the road. Benny was a star that day, fixed my bike up for me so I could ride home. He cut a piece of barbed wire fence up from some poor farmer's field and used the wire to hold together my rear brake and rear set so I could just about rest my foot on it

One reason I always feel more nervous on left handers is that if this sort of thing happens, you end up going across oncoming traffic. By the looks of it, this happened on a left hander, though the news report just says collision with the barrier.

This is just tragic though, I can't concentrate on anything at work for thinking about him.

The report says about a pillion, do we know if they were a relative or friend cause my thoughts are with them, they have lost someone they loved or cared for and suffering injury as well.
