John, you may have already have read about this, but if you haven't those two hoses which go through the carb side supporting plates (the ones I have placed a red arrow above) need pulling out so they can hang down. I fixed mine in place after doing that, just to stop them moving about.

Hi Chris thanks can you explain why they have to hang down as these are only air vent tubes thanks.

Is it only the front tube that needs changing then , also was this something that Honda changed due to the stalling problem under heavy breaking thanks.

Just change the position for both to hang down the outside on their side of the carb connecting plates, I used a small loose tie grip to hold them.

I just can’t see any gain from doing this and when I done a bit of research and read a few old threads people said it came from Facebook and was a load of rubbish. So for now I will be leaving alone thanks.

Well I guess Facebook knows all......hahaha The bulletin came from Honda, that is who I received it from, no matter what someone on Facepage has to say.

Yes it does fix the "stumble after hard braking issue" which is very real. I would be the reason why the Facepage folks don't believe it.....they just have never actually used the brakes with aggression.

As for the hoses, I removed them both years ago.....less weight has got to make the bike faster......

Just search the old threads on this forum that’s where I got the info from but I can’t find anything from Honda if you could point me in the direction would make an interesting read thanks.

John, and that's the right thing to do, it's your bike and your choice.

The advice I gave you was from my own personal experience, although I have come across others on this forum who have done the same besides Mike (8541Hawk). I only came looking for a fix many years ago when I experienced the stumble issue on my own Firestorm. May be it doesn't happen for everyone, but it certainly did for me. Facing the hoses downwards meant the issue didn't happen again.
I am not a member of Facebook, but I have been a member on here since 2003,

Chris.
