It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Sh*t, sorry to hear that Mac.

Thinking about it, there's way too much crashing going on round here for my liking, you, Carl, Marty, that's most of the VTRers I've met (mass wise, incl. Marty   ). Anyway, I'm getting paranoid. Does God play dice? I f*ckin' 'ope not! Makes me think how much worse my recent minor nose wheelie on the M4 could have been.

On the plus side, at least tragedy has turned to comedy in this thread. :)

Nah I have spare parts to fit on..
Have you got any spare ribs

There's too many off's because either we ride all year round which increases the odds or we are little bit psycho and push things.

Sorry to hear about your Off Mac. Very lucky there wasn't a broken hip on the list as well at your age !
On the up side. At least it was yella. No ones really going to care about the bike and making it look like new again

Oops, Broken ribs take a while, don't sneeze whatever you do for 6 weeks, you might think it's ok after 3 or 4 weeks but don't let your guard down, you'll thank me when your looking really stupid trying to hold it in and pinching the bridge of your nose.
Get well soon mate

Sorry to hear of your escapades, Mac. I had an off last year and cracked a couple of ribs so can sympathize. Try and avoid sneezing if you can, I'm one of those people that always sneeze three times, so after the first shot of pain, you know two more are on their way soon...

Get well soon.

I'm sorry to hear of this Mac, it just goes to show how easily something like this can happen.
Wishing you well in your recovery,

Chris.

I certainly wont Pete thats for sure...you better duck the incoming, the yella mafia have already been on the warpath accusing me of ritual slaughter or some such baldrocks...well when I say yella mafia what I really mean is the yella girl guides...cant be gay club as thats reserved for the blue boys :biker: ...hehehehe...ow! fek...

Yes I know yours is a blue bike but thats what you get for the hip jibe... :Tongue2:

Cheers for the advice Malc, is that from personal expirience ?

As it happens sneezing is just one of the things to avoid that iv'e found so far...coughing, even clearing your throat, burps, hiccups, any twisting movment from the hips up...taking a jumper off...ect ect...
