Custard had new boots fitted yesterday...

Also picked up the three chain & sprocket kits I ordered from him...New Red needs one as it has a bad tight spot.

Being fussy I also wanted a new one for Blonkey & an extra one in case Big Bird needs one.

Today I washed the two weeks of crud off custard & whilst lubing the chain despite it being adjusted yesterday found that it is well & trully goosed, to the point that you can pull it off the sprocket...

Good Job I have one in stock...

Also it's strange but Custard seems to like a drop of oil, there are no leaks that I can see, engine not smotherd in oil & no patches on the MacCave floor & nither do I see smoke when riding... So wheres it bloody going ?

Thought about putting the HEL braided hoses on the front, then went and watched City

Classic symptoms of the valve stem oil seals being worn. Next time you have a mate ride behind u. Ask him/her to look out for puffs of blue/grey smoke. Normally appears on over run. Common on these bikes. Out of the 8 or so storms i've bought/sold. 4 of them had this problem. And that includes my current bike. Even it's been regularly serviced. And had an oil n filter change at no more than 4k intervals. I'm beginning to think the bargain motul oil on eBay isn't all its supposed to be. When I sorce another or rebuild this engine. I will be using a better quality oil

Rode Custard over to the land of Vanstub.

Parked it up & we jumped in his motah.

Drove to deepest darkest Essex.

To Jonesy & Michaela's gaff.

Handed over this...

In exchange for this...

There were a few other bits that Driver Vanstub snared & I donated a set of Blade forks to him from the stash...ex Mons ones, now hes on the hunt for the rest of the bits needed to fit them to his Storm...

So Me & Frank have a bit of sorting out to do tomorrow...Hahahaha

Storm No.7 in the MacCave it's getting a wee bit crowded in there & I can hear Frank whining & bitching from here...

Right I'm off for a coffee & take me Stormitus medication...not sure thats working TBH...
