The good news is I've got the Storm back - the bad news is a bill for £408... This includes the MOT and front pads but is still a lot more than the £230 initially quoted.

The main part they fitted was 'Honda Arm Sub' 52465MBB000 http://www.cmsnl.com/vtr1000f-super-haw ... F++23.html which was £105. They also fitted Honda 'Collar Conn Lwr' at £9 and 'Collar Cush Arm' at £8. Other non Honda parts charged were an exhaust clamp at over £18 and a hex bolt at £3.67...

Labour charge was £188 for 5 hours. I questioned this and they phoned the workshop manager - he said the job had took 6 hours but they had only charged me for 5...

I'm pleased too hear you've now got your bike back Ian, but the less I say about the price probably the better. Obviously I have not seen the job the garage had to do so I won't comment on it :!:
