JIm that's some hard times you have been through there mate. I totally understand the walking out on job thing as situations like that can make one have a rethink and reboot themselves. Were not on this planet to be somebody else's slave, whether that's a person or company but unfortunately we live in a commercialised world with bills to pay to feed those we work for. Follow the money tree and it all goes to one place. Nice that you have the bikes to turn too. I've always liked those older CB1000 but would be a bit heavy for me. I reckon that can be a bit of animal that bike. Ride safe mate and it's good to hear from you. Cor imagine us lot hooning around on them Texan roads. One big drag strip.

Big hugs sent through the ether and just remember that your parents will always be with you in heart and soul :Group Hug:

You guys are the best! You always chear me up.

By the way, Texas is not all flat. If I could I would take you all down to South Texas to Ride what is called the Three Twisted Sisters. This is roughly a triangular conjunction of three Texas state highways. The terrain is arid, mountainous and rocky. The roads are twisted black top with lots of elevation changes and unexpected (mostly dry) low water gullies.

There is live Texas music and cold beer in Luckenbach on the way back.
