Thats another added to the list  that must be 5 of us already  At this rate we will have more people than we can handle by the time we do this run

Who ever wants to come on the trial runs let me know when you are free and if I am we shall set a date to do a ride, whether we follow this route I have already posted or ride out to a few of the towns we shall be passing and explore that area who knows. Then when we have explored a few different areas and found some more nice roads we can add them onto the rough route and then I shall be able to make a final one, eventually

Is that you putting your name down for it or just saying that it's a good idea?

Added marty

Carl I have you pencil'd in.

I shall have a look at dates tonight or tomorrow and I'll have a word with Geo as to when he is thinking of doing his run and I shall bang up a date. I shall make a few visits to some camp sites and see which one looks the nicest and I shall warn them of our arrival.

I shall stay with May/June as it is early enough in the year that we shall have some good weather and gives a good amount of time left to plan others after then as the weather is usually OK until Aug/Sept. I think I may have just found a camp site.

There are 13 pitches which they allow tents but I am sure we will get 2-3 tents per pitch if we wanted (depending on size)

It is adult only, near a little lake, good facilities and food is not to far away either. I will take a venture out that way next weekend if I can to look at where the site is and where food is. What do you lot think to this?..... http://www.eyekettlebylakes.com/caravan.php

Check if they are bike friendly too.

Just seen this in their t&cs
"Please be considerate of other campers and keep noise to a minimum. We do request absolute quiet after 11 pm. (Failure could result in removal from site)"

And they are expensive at £20 a night for a fooking tent. Are they supplying the tents and installing a Spa in them.

Get a proper site and our own field and I'll bring the bike up in the van and I'll also have room for the marquee, oil drum BBQ and disco.

I'm currently up to 2600 watts sound output, and I don't turn it off until I pass out........Got generator, so no worries about s long as there's a pub within walking distance.

But you don't want houses within sight, or we'll get the Police complaining they weren't invited, and trying to confiscate the gear.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
