Got up bright & early (mainly because I was rudely awoken by the sound of a yapping puppy).

- Booked an mot for 10am.

- Called up CN and renewed my insurance.

- Fired up the bike, no worries even after nearly a year, with year old fuel etc. Fitted large number plate & exhaust baffles.

- Rode to old school MOT station, got MOT & had a great chat with the owner/tester.

- Got tax.

- MET UP WITH MANY PALS AND HAD A BLAST! Well worth all the mucking about and parting with cash that I don't really have.

The year old fuel still performed great! I think I brimmed it with Shell 99ron V Power before I laid her up.

Bloody nora, Despite the miles I've already done and the time I've already spent in the saddle over the past couple of years, I love this bike, more than ever before. Honda really created something 'special' here, not leader board topping or exotic by any stretch, but 'special' in a humble, honest and cheerful way. Thanks Honda.

It really is warm isn't it! I had a T-Shirt and full leathers which would normally be torture at this time of year, but I think I got a sweat up round the twisty bits today.

Yeah ok, That needs some work. Works fine until you boot it and lay hard into turns. Then fuel runs out the end. :wtf:

The fuel moves way to fast. So have put a restriction in the hose by the T piece with a 2mm hole to slow the flow.

+1 very much so. I had a blast, bloody slippery but great fun getting the butt end al squirrely today. Confirmed from my mate he has bought a very good Storm and he will be picking it up after chrimbo. Another 40 mile blast on dry roads by then. Still love this bike and the old farts in Lymington seemed to love it too, mumblings about "my old tribsa etc etc was that fast " good old duffers and loved the sound of the bike. An old chap "Ted" sat on in it for 2 mins. And said it "felt better that the last girl i sat on" i hope my memories that good at 82 it made has day.

Fitted a baffle to my RH muffler. Got tired of my ears ringing after a ride.

Seems to have found a little power doing it. :wtf:

Might be as its not so loud you gave it more without noticing !.
It has that effect on me the quieter the bike the faster I ride  I think it's because subconsciously I know I'm drawing less attention to myself .

Bring on the electric bikes :-)
