Tiger Grip, best disposable gloves I've ever used, don't fall apart at the slightest wiff of any chemicals unlike most of the ones I've had in the past...

Highly recomended...

based on your recommendation I bought a pack of those gloves and you are right, they survive all the chemicals and solvents that cause my usual nitrile gloves to fall apart. well impressed, and I can type this with clean fingernails :D

had a visit this morning from BTT, great to see him, his bike looks even better in the flesh, even the white bellypan...
we had a good catch up and he kindly left some parts with me. an all round top bloke...
wish i'd taken some pics of his bike, when you sit on it, there's feck all in front of you, very strange, but very comfy. sounds good with the arrows can as well.
of course I let him listen to the akrapovic soundtrack which he loved....
oh and the decal arrived for my rhs fairing, the paint colour match might be poo, but I don't care for now. it's back together and ready to ride....

Thanks for the cuppa and general chat Marty. Your exhaust is the dogs nuts. Looks superb with those pipes underneath. Good job of the fairing too.

The wrist does not affect his ability to make tea. Talked 2 hrs of baldrocks too.

All the work (apart from cleaning headers) is done to the TRX, now I'm riding it and liking it but....have a hankering for an R1-Z to take me back to my yoof.

Finally fixed the bugger
:n6013r0: :Woohoo: :n6013r0:
Not been able to get it to fire since I broke dawn on the way home from Scotland.
One new ignitor box later and my baby is ready to play again
:Woohoo:

Refitted the pannier racks again as they make it easy to go shopping :-) .
I also picked up a very nice full titanium micron can yesterday for the bird but think I'm going to try to find another and use them for piggy .

The link pipe is ti too but no idea what it fits as the add was very basic with no info and that's why I got it for £15 :-)
I might realist it with a good description and make a few quid :/)

Thanks Chaps,
£210 second hand from the states in the end, so not a cheep fix.
I'm just in the middle of fitting the original pipes and removing the power commander at the mo. It looks like the rear mid section exhaust joint suffers the same as the storm. I had a little chuffing noise coming from the joint which disappeared after a couple of minutes before I went to Scotland, now it's completely blown out without a trace of there ever being one

Took a leisurely ride out to Herefordshire, wanted to go somewhere new. Thought I wanted a proper hoon but I think I just missed actually riding the bike around more than just city streets, so kept it sensible but fun..

Ran into a few IAM bikers too, ended up getting convinced to go and have my free assessment ride with them in Kidderminster in the coming weeks. Sounds like fun!
