Yeh I've got it. Build quality good. It's made of fibreglass. As far as exact fitting goes, I have not fitted yet, but have sort of lined it up to get an idea and it all appears to be all OK. It's a copy of the Pyramid style undertray. Holes for mounting the seat lock and the two clips underneath need to be drilled out, but the recess's are there where they go. The gel coat finish is allright, a little pitted in one area on mine and Slight overspray/heavy coat which has caused a bit of sagging/curtaining. I have given a good rub down with wet n dry and a coat of Satin Black. It's looking good waiting for a few coats of lacquer. I will fit once I have bought a new numberplate, bracket/tail tidy and some new indi's

Overall, an absolute bargain when compared to others. Can't go wrong for that price when you consider the plastic pyramid ones are £100

Maybe, but the frame might well be scrap, if it's been in an accident hard enough to wreck the forks.
It's got the carbs and an exhaust, though.
Currently at just over £120, worth £a couple of hundred if it looks ok and isn't full of water.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Why not from a crashed bike?
At least you know it was running at the point of impact....
Barring obvious crankcase damage, or front cam box cover, it'll be fine internally.

you never know how long it was running on its side before it was turned off .
could of been seconds or could of been an hour .
no oil in the sump or hydro lock in the pots could of done damage i would have thought . i might be very wrong about this so education in this matter is in order

I don't think it would run for long on it's side, it would soon flood wouldn't it. :confused

Yes! The green one's the only one still running, and it's as good as upright.
Oil will still be going through it in an ordinary way, all it's doing is revving to the limiter, and a good thrash on a quiet dual carriageway does that often enough....
Injected bikes are more likely to keep running when on their sides than carbed ones, and carbed bikes like Storms that don't have a fuel pump will stop running pretty quickly, I'd say certainly before any oil starvation causes issues.

Avoid engines with bits of crankcase or casing missing; those could have run themselves dry.
I'd also be very wary of an engine with new oil in it, as it could have run dry and been refilled.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
