Mmm When you consider what price you can buy a good secondhand storm for. Basically the only good thing is the frame because of the rarity. The shocks are probably shagged and would need a good service anyway. Panels can be tarted up/repaired. It's a money pit to rebuild so all that's left is breaking it for parts.

It's a shame really as it's a bit of history. I suppose the life of that bike died with the engine. Like a captain going down with his ship.

You can have it mate, with out the other good bits its just a frame and shock, don't know what state the frame actually in either until inspected as its going to have been thrown down the track floor at speed a few times i would imagine.

I was working the cost to get it how I want it without engine mods and it came to £2500 :-(
To get mine how I want it with engine mods £1500
So it's became a no brainier I'm sticking with my oil burner :-)

all of the above ref the SPONDON frame is what ive thought .
It`s basically a frame and some bolt on goodies past there sell
by date ( all probably knackered and leaking ) .
As much as i want a spare frame , this isnt the one for me .

You got the cans I don't think you will regret that. They sound real nice going by that video I found, and a good price too.
