rode it to tescos about ten miles away and bought a bottle of red wine. it still cheers me up after driving a vivaro with a speed restrictor on it all week.

Bought some carbon Scorpion high levels for my baby,

and made up a bolt to grease the small rear suspension joint,

Hopefully hasn't weakened it by much.

Today I done nothing to the bike. But a look on egay showed my parts have been shipped. So hopefully I'll get the new hanger tomorrow so I can get back on the road!

Hi all going to fit paddock stand bobbins, I've made up a couple of u section brackets in stainless which fit over the swinging and with enough depth to fit a spacer between so you put a long counter sunk bolt through the bobbin bracket spacer and out the outher side with a nylock nut and job done, works well and looks neat.......now for some tea and a warm up :D

98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. The other 2% made it home Image

Today I have mostly been getting shown by my local mechanic how to do fork springs, seals and bushes whilst he carried out the work on my bike with the occasional helping hand from me. I didn't arf learn a lot today.

Anyone who lives around Kingston/New Malden or anywhere close, look up (google) Revolution Bike Tech next time you need owt doing. Nick is an absolute diamond geezer though his business plan of teaching everyone how to do it themselves probably could use a bit of working on :D £25 per hour which for these parts is nearly half the price of everyone else.

Now it's got proper progressive springs in, it feels like a bloody different bike. Well chuffed

Fitted a cyclone v2 alarm, gave her a wash and then took her to the local petrol station for some juice.
Will check the battery tomorrow

Finished installing, shimming and timing the reground cams I had done last year, now fitted and running.
seems ok, tomorrow I'll pop the fairing back on and give it a clean, then a little run round to see if they've made any difference.

Monday I'll book it on the dyno again to see what the numbers tell me....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
