book price

Post by Trojan »

Can anyone tell me what book price is on a Firestorm from 1996-2002?

I have about 3k to spend, obviously as late as possible would be ideal but I would go for an older bike that has been well looked after and had suspension tweeks etc. Just wonder what the going rate is.

Thanks

Right then are we ready......i have access to Glasses Guide online vehicle values.

Honda VTR1000 Firestorm, ranging from 97P - 01Y (Values valid for January 2004)

Retail Value Year Mileage Trade Value
3225 97P 21 2300
3350 97R 20 2400
3475 98R 18 2525
3575 98S 17 2625
3700 99S 16 2750
3800 99T 15 2825
3875 99V 14 2900
3950 00V 12 2975
4075 00W 11 3100
4150 00X 10 3150
4250 01X 09 3250
4325 01Y 08 3325

** note to remember, all mileage figures are based upon average mileage.

If you need to adjust, the normal procedure is to decrease value by £100 for every 1000 miles over average.

Ie, 01Y with 10K miles = £4325 -200 for mileage = £4125

Hope this helps.......

( i get an update on these figures every month, so if you ever need a specific value, drop me a PM)

Well done Essexbloke :P
Dead handy to know.

Now do ya think we should tell mikeg on the sales and wants that he may have dropped the price of his Storm £305 pounds since he last put it on in oct but he needs to drop it a little more

Mate, wonder if you can help me with an insurance claim. 3rd party is arguing the toss over my sv650s that he drove over. would be useful to get some book prices for one of those. the settlement is the only thing holding me up fromm buying a storm. cheers in advance
